As an advocate in our referral program, you help educate and identify donors who are interested in making that commitment.

- C. diff infection is a leading healthcare-associated infection in the U.S.
- Approximately 1 in 6 people who are infected will get it again in the subsequent 2-8 weeks.
- Infection is estimated to cause almost half a million illnesses in the United States each year, and an estimated 29,300 deaths.
Here’s the good news: your (or your friend’s) gut microbiome could potentially help be a part of the solution!

Meets These Initial Health Requirements?

Is your friend between the ages of 18 and 50?
The GoodNature Stool Donation Program requires that our participants be between the ages of 18 and 50. -
Does your friend meet our BMI requirement?
In order to participate, donors must have a BMI that falls between 18.5 and 29.9. -
Does your friend smoke?
In order to be eligible, donors must be nonsmokers. -
Is your friend pregnant?
We do not currently allow pregnant women to participate in the program.

Does your referral live/work within 20 minutes of a center below? Eligible donors visit 4-6 times weekly for 6 months or more, so making donations should be convenient. Map their location to be sure!

You Know Your Friend. Use This List or Discuss It With Them to See if They Are Likely to Commit to Daily Stool Donation.
Being a stool donor can be rewarding as your commitment can help fight against serious diseases, such as recurrent C. diff.
Donors commit to:
- A 1-hour visit (PLUS travel time) monthly
- 4-6 visits per week lasting about 20 minutes
- Monthly blood draws
- Interest in committing to be a donor for 6 months or more
Remaining eligible and providing consistent stool donations is most likely achieved if they:
- Live or work within 20 minutes of a donation center
- Have no change in employment or home address planned that would make a commute longer than 20 minutes to a center
- Have a flexible schedules
- Stay healthy: to be able to avoid use of medications or illnesses that might cause pause in donations and/or discontinuation
- Do not travel extensively for work or vacation
- Avoid travel outside the United States
- Limit the use of alcohol by not exceeding more than 3 drinks per sitting
- Wait to get new tattoos
- Do not use probiotics

FAQs
The more the merrier! You are welcome to refer as many people as you’d like. Please note that you cannot refer the same person multiple times. A reminder, eligible candidates typically live or work within 20 minutes of our Tempe, AZ and Irvine, CA locations.
You will be paid after your referral makes all required donations to determine if they are eligible at one of our centers in Irvine, CA or Tempe, AZ. Payments will be made on the 30th of each month. You will receive your payment card via USPS. If your referral is deemed ineligible by the online application, or phone screen, and/or does not make three donations at one of our centers, while we appreciate your time and effort, you will not receive the $100 compensation.
Yes! We encourage you to share the GoodNature Tempe and GoodNature Irvine postcards and the informational Donor to Capsule: a Microbiome Journey when sharing the opportunity with your network.
Thanks for thinking of us! We love participating in local events and hosting lunch & learns at businesses near our centers. We will compensate you $100 for any lunch & learn with 10 or more attendees. Please email your idea(s) to us at contact@goodnatureprogram.com.
